Xi Zheng Nan (Tate)
We decided to adopt again! We were matched with a one-year old boy in China named Xi Zheng Nan in early March 2017. When completing our approval packet to get Feng we decided to submit the paperwork so it would allow us to adopt two kids at the same time. We were not matched with a second child, but it gave us the option to use the same paperwork in the future for a period of time. Friday morning (2/24/17) Michelle woke up and had a feeling that we were going to be presented with a second child to possibly adopt. Late in the day, our adoption agency called and said they were sending us a file.
Zheng Nan will be our seventh child. He is wearing the same baby outfit that our son Nash wore when he was an infant and they have the same birthday. He has a significant heart issue but has already had surgery to correct it so his prognosis should be pretty good. Amazingly, we think he had major heart surgery just ~30 days before the video was shot below. We will travel to get Feng and Zheng Nan at the same time.
It took us a long time to decide if we would adopt a sixth child. Once we were introduced to Feng, the decision to adopt him was fast and easy. We really thought he was going to be our last child....until we met Zheng Nan.
