Michelle arrived Sunday night. Sawyer and Nash found an old pair of handcuffs at Grandma's house, and the key broke. They all tried to free Sawyer for a few hours before they finally gave up. Michelle and Sawyer went to the small-town Beecher police department, but no one was there. She then drove around town to look for a police officer. She eventually found one, and they returned to the police department, but they still could not get him free. The officer called two other policemen, and they could not remove the cuffs either. In the end, they called the fire department, and the firefighters arrived with their lights flashing. One firefighter knew how to pick the lock.
